Originally produced as a radio show in association with WGBH Radio (Boston), this recording features not only the Klezmer Conservatory Band, but also special guest contributions, notably the entertaining and informative snippets of oral history by The Yiddish Voice's own chief announcer Chasia Segal, and the late, great Boston Yiddish radio show host Ben Gailing. It's no wonder that WGBH and many other public radio shows still play this material every chanukah to this day more than 10 years after its release. (Year released: 1987)
