The fourth edition of Yiddish II: An Intermediate and Advanced Textbook by Dr. Mordkhe Schaechter (Senior Lecturer in Yiddish Studies Emeritus, Columbia University) is now available. It has been eagerly awaited everywhere by students who have completed Uriel Weinreich's College Yiddish (or have equivalent background) and wish to continue their progress in the Yiddish language. Yiddish II, written mostly in Yiddish, is the first continuation-level Yiddish textbook ever published which specifically addresses the difficulties encountered by English-speaking adults.
